The Vivian Project

The First Real-Time Mexican Sign Language Translator
Vivian is an avatar that translates Spanish into real time Mexican Sign Language (LSM). Using technology, Vivian bridges the communication and emotional gap so deaf individuals can interact freely with their family, friends and work peers without the need of a human interpreter, empowering them to communicate independently and effectively.
Bridge the Silence, support the Connection.

In the state of Baja California, where we are launching our demo, there are almost 100,000 people who are part of the deaf community.
Many people don’t realize how deeply challenging it is for a deaf person to fully grasp language. Without auditory memory, concepts like love, justice, or human rights—things that can’t be seen—are especially hard to understand. While some learn to read lips or recognize words, truly comprehending meaning goes far beyond letters, and many face lifelong barriers in doing so.
There are 2.3 million deaf individuals in Mexico.
¡Porque todos merecen ser escuchados!
Trust Vivian.
Imagine a world where millions of voices go unheard, not because they are silent, but because we lack the means to listen. Millions of individuals in Mexico face barriers that isolate them from fully participating in conversations with their loved ones, colleagues, and communities. Our project is here to change that. By creating a real-time Mexican Sign Language translator, we're not just building technology - we're building bridges. We're empowering the deaf community to be seen, to be understood, to be heard. Join us in making communication accessible to everyone. Together, we can break the silence and open a world of possibilities.
Comunicación sin barreras.
